  Really nice lunch and afternoon tea options. We had the pork pie platter, with gorgeous, fresh local produce and plenty of it. HUGE range of tea options, from regular breakfast tea to all sorts of exotic blends. Nice coffee, homemade cakes and scones. My meal had lovely bread, generous portions of pork pie, fresh off the bone ham, local creamy Stilton cheese, pickles, salad and extremely tasty new potatoes. Lovely staff and in a quintessentially old English tearoom setting, with window tables, from where you can watch the world go by, from above. Right in the heart of historic Melton Mowbray.
